My Thoughts: Possible Spoilers Below
I love this neighborhood. Celestial Haven has become the suburbs of my dreams in the matter of two books and you can’t change my mind. I love the world building, and how the different supernaturals have different kinds of hierarchies. I honestly hope we get a book about the vampire leader one of these days, but I digress. I loved how the journey of a new mom, and in a way she refinds herself and reconnects with who she truly is other than being a mom. That’s always been a fear of mine, falling into motherhood and getting lost in it until I lose myself. I love how accepting the boys are, how caring and doting they are. They deserve the happiest of endings.

Thoughts on Characters
L. R. Friedman is magical in the way that she develops and creates well rounded realistic characters who struggle with body image, feeling sensual while taking care of a young child, and dating as a single mother. I love the boys, Lynx, Saros, and Atlas. I love how they each have very individual personalities, how they shine in different ways, and how the characters support each other in different ways.
I also loved how we got to see much more about the other sides of the supernatural world present, and I loved how this played into the endgame of the book. I can’t help but want to learn more and want to know more about this fictional suburb.

Conclusion
I loved this Duet, and I can’t wait to see what else L. R. Friedman is working on. I know Blaze Legacy is going to have a few more books, and I believe we will be revisiting Celestial Haven at some point. I’m always excited and down for the ride.
