The Crown the Fae Forgot – A Review

Nowhere is safe for the next heir to the kingdom.

Aurra may have escaped the lord of the Wildness, but it’s only a matter of time before Icarus makes his next move. She grew too close the dark fae, and now she has to suffer the consequences.

If only the bond they shared was the one broken by the Oracle.

The power that runs through Aurra’s veins is more than she can handle, but unless she’s willing to put her trust in another lord or lady of Luxia, she’ll have to learn to deal with it on her own.

The faerie crown might be rightfully hers, but the closer she comes to claiming it, the less she wants it. Whether or not she wants it, however, her world is about to become a very dangerous place.

A strange wind is blowing from the abandoned faerie realm. Old prophesies are coming to light and somehow, Aurra keeps finding herself—and that magic that flows through her veins—at their very center.

The Crown The Fae Forgot is the third book in a slow burn (but extra spicy) dark enemies-to-lovers fantasy romance with multiple love interests, hidden powers, and handsome dark-haired villains.

Writing Style

I love the metaphors that are used and how they make the emotions more relatable and powerful. I appreciate the identity crisis that Aurra is forced to confront when coming into who she is supposed to be. I feel like this made everything so much more relatable instead of just letting Aurra move on like nothing happened. I love the boys and how protective they are and how this is seen through their actions instead of being told. These little moments are culminating into something and I really hope this isn’t the last of this series.

My Opinions

I was so excited to read this and I know it is supposed to be the last of this series, but I don’t see how with the ending we received. I really hope we get the end of this story and get to see Aurra take back her crown. The ending is such a cliffhanger that has left me wanting to see what happens next. There is an announcement at the end of the book that will make your jaw drop because I definitely didn’t see it coming.
